Check-ins can happen anytime during our operating hours! Check-out is at 1pm. The room and amenities will be available to your pet for the remainder of the day for a small additional charge. What do I need to bring? We have bedding and food/water bowls for your pet! If you want to bring comfort items for your pet, feel free to do so! We will make every effort to document what you bring and return them to you! For dogs: food, collar/harness and leash For cats: just food! We have litter boxes and litter, but feel free to bring yours if you think a change would bother your cat! Do you require proof of immunizations? All pets must show proof of yearly vaccinations. For dogs: Rabies, DHLP-P, Bordatella For cats: Rabies, FVCRP Holidays: Named holiday bookings will incur a $15 additional fee. 2025 Holidays: New Year’s Day (January 1), Easter (April 20), Memorial Day (May 26), Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day (September 1), Thanksgiving (November 27), Christmas Eve (December 24), Christmas Day (December 25), New Year’s Eve (December 31) Cancellation Policy: *Holiday Cancellations – You will not be charged if you cancel within 10 days of your stay. If we do not get proper cancellation notice, you will be charged for 3 nights stay. All other cancellations require 48 hour notice. If you do not give 48 hours notice, you will be charged for your stay. Pet Pictures: We use photos of our client’s pets on social media and in advertising, if you do not want us to use your pet’s photo in this manner, indicate so on your reservation. Personal or property identifying information is never included in the photos. Medication: Great Woof Lodge will attempt to administer all medications as directed by the primary caregiver but cannot be held responsible for complications that arise as a result. If there is a fear that an animal will react negatively to the administration of a medication (i.e. bite) we reserve the right to not administer the medication. We will inform you of such as soon as possible. Inclement Weather: During hurricane season (June-November) we require a local contact who will be able to come in and pick up your pet within one hour of a mandatory evacuation notice. We are sorry for any inconvenience. If you are not able to comply with this, please let a manager know at check-in. If a category 3, 4, or 5 hurricane is projected to make a possible landfall in the vicinity of Houston/Galveston area, all personnel and all customer’s pets must be evacuated at least 1 day prior to the expected landfall. Owners of pets which are not picked up will be charged a daily fee of $400/pet to offset costs incurred by Great Woof Lodge to evacuate their pets and keep them safe. For a category 1 or 2 hurricane, Great Woof Lodge will make a decision on evacuation following the advice of local authorities, after which we will contact our customers or their designated emergency contacts. |
